NEIL NEEDS A HOME!

What a sweetheart! This is Neil the 4.5 lb. chihuahua! Neil was rescued from the shelter by one of our good customers who is currently fostering him until he can find his forever home. He was about to be put to sleep at the shelter, can you believe this cutie almost didn't make it??? His personality is very shy if he doesn't know you, but I hear he's a very active little guy. Neil is 8 years young (we know chihuahuas who are 18 years old, so Neil still has many good years ahead of him) and waiting for his special human. Is that you? Email venicepets@hotmail.com if you're interested in adopting him! No phone calls please, we don't want to lose your contact info so email is the best way to let us know you're interested.

Seriously, he's just adorable. I gasped when I saw him, he just hits you with his sweetness. He's that amazing. Let's wish Neil the best of luck in finding his forever home!

ADOPTABLE PET - CUBBY BEAR

Many of our customers (and both my chihuahuas) are from rescues and shelters. But sometimes we get customers who are being fostered and looking for their forever homes! From now on we will feature foster pets from Mary's Little Lamb Animal Rescue on our blog. They specialize in small dogs but currently have a German Shepherd puppy too.

Our first featured adoptable pet is Cubby Bear! With a name like that, who couldn't love him? He's a furry pomeranian/yorkie mix. He's 2 years old, about 10 lbs., and loves everyone! Dogs, kids, and even cats :) He's neutered, microchipped, and up to date with all his shots.

THANK YOU PEANUT, BELLA & THEIR MOM!

This is Bella and Peanut! Peanut has been featured on the blog before, but this time we got a picture of him with his sister Bella! We're featuring them today because we wanted to say thank you to them and their wonderful mom for bringing tons of donations for the West L.A Animal Shelter to our shop. In case you didn't know, Venicepets always welcomes your donations of old or unused towels, dog beds, cushions, food bowls, collar and lead, etc. We then make it our responsibility to deliver the donations to the West L.A Animal Shelter.

Here's a photo of Bella and Peanut with some of the items they donated, and they really donated a lot of things! Thank you so much to Bella, Peanut, and their mom for their kindness, great generosity and compassion for all the pets in West L.A Animal Shelter who are awaiting their forever homes. I'm sure the items will help make their stay more comfortable and cheerful.

Please if you are looking for a new puppy, kitten or adult dog or cat, consider adopting from a shelter or rescue. They have many great pets to choose from. Your new pet would be forever grateful!

TODAY'S CUSTOMER ★PENNY-TERRIER MIX★

Meet Penny the terrier mix! Penny was found on the street and then adopted by her wonderful mom and dad a couple weeks ago. Penny's parents decided they wanted to give her a fresh start so they brought her in for a grooming makeover! She looks absolutely great and her parents were thrilled to see her new look. When they picked her up Penny greeted her parents with lots of thank you kisses. Penny has now officially left her past behind her and is a happy and loved dog. We hope to see them back again soon!
