Today's Customer: Minnie - Newfoundland

Meet Minnie, the Newfoundland!

She has actually been on our blog before, but we would like to introduce her again!

She's such a beautiful and gorgeous dog.

The Newfoundland is a working dog.  They were originally bred and used as a working dog for fishermen in the Dominion of Newfoundland, now part of Canada.

They are known for their giant size, tremendous strength, calm dispositions, and loyalty. 

Newfoundland dogs excel at water rescue/lifesaving, because of their muscular build, thick double coat, webbed feet (as you see in the picture above), and innate swimming abilities.

This breed is HUGE, but so so SWEET, like a teddy bear :)

Meet Minnie the Newfoundland! Minnie is 2 years old. She's one of our grooming customers and a very well behaved girl!

TODAY'S CUSTOMER: BIG PHINN - NEWFOUNDLAND

Meet Big Phinn, the Newfoundland! For those of you who have never seen a Newfoundland up close, you should! They are big, awesome dogs with super soft beautiful fur, and very sweet personalities. Big Phinn is no exception. Here he is waiting for his family to pick him up from grooming! Hehe.


We hope to see Big Phinn again soon!

TODAY'S CUSTOMER: MINI - NEWFOUNDLAND

We got a visit today from this pretty Newfoundland named Mini! The perfect name for her, isn't it? When she stands on all fours she's big enough to reach the cash register! She's only 2 years old, and has the softest fur ever. She left the shop with a bag of treats and a brand new rope toy.

We hope Mini and her family stop by and visit again soon!

★BYE BYE MAGGIE★

Dear sweet Maggie the newfoundland and her family are moving to Hawaii, so this was her last grooming with us. We'll miss her so much - she's like a giant stuffed animal! We hope Maggie won't forget us, and please visit if you're ever back in L.A. Kind of jealous she's going to Hawaii...sunshine and beautiful beaches!
