HAPPY 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND!

Yes, summer is finally here and 4th of July is this coming Wednesday! Time to relax and enjoy the fireworks.

But all the parties, BBQ's, and fireworks make for chaos and commotion when it comes to our pets. Many pets slip out of backyards and out into the neighborhood and get lost during 4th of July. This is either due to fear of fireworks or simply opportunity - as many guests are coming in and out of your home. Please keep an eye out for your pets this 4th of July!

As for us, we will be taking the day off too! Venicepets and Marina Dog Grooming will be closed Wednesday, July 4th. There will be regular business hours this Monday and Tuesday, so if you need something before then please stop by! We will return to regular hours Thursday, July 5th.

We apologize for any inconvenience and hope that you and your pets have a great holiday! Happy Independence Day everyone!

Meet Franny (15 months old) and Lucy (10 years old) the pitbulls, and their dad! Together they make a pretty awesome-looking team. To further emphasize their coolness Franny & Lucy's dad got them some brand new matching leather collars from our shop. Now they have it all - bling, stones, leather, cue Wu Tang's "C.R.E.A.M" and they are ready for a stroll in Venice.

Kalbi stopped by for grooming again! You might have seen him before - either on our blog, or at Tokyo Kalbi restaurant in West L.A (he's their mascot and you can see him on a poster eating BBQ). This time he also got a brand new tank top to wear. Isn't he cute?

Meet Cooper (left) and Jack (right)! Cooper is 2 years old and super playful, and Jack is 12 years old. Despite the 10 year difference they are great playmates. Jack came with their family to pick up Cooper from grooming. They were so excited to see each other again! A "bromance" for sure :P


We hope to see both of these cuties again soon.

Meet Bogey the Mastiff! He looks tough on the outside, but he is sweet on the inside. Bogey came for his first grooming and he was such a good boy! Meet Summer the Golden Retriever! Summer came in for grooming and also picked up a brand new lobster rope toy to take home!
