HOLIDAY EXTENDED SHOP HOURS

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, it's time for us to announce our holiday shop hours!

Grooming and retail will be closed Thursday, November 22nd and Friday, November 23rd for Thanksgiving. We will reopen Saturday with regular hours.

Retail will also be open on Sundays as we are every year during the holidays for your shopping convenience. Grooming will maintain the same hours. We are open on the following Sundays:

Meet Diego the Yorkshire terrier! Diego stopped by and bought a brand new bomber jacket. This little bomber jacket also doubles as a harness! It's one of our most popular items at the shop. Diego looks so cute in it it's insane. Just look at that ear! And it kind of looks like he's smiling too :)

Meet Coco the 1 year old pug! Coco and her family stopped by last week to pick up a brand new sweater for walks in the cold weather. They settled on this cute little bomber jacket that doubles as a harness, so she can avoid feeling bulky on her walks! She looks adorable in it.

Meet Nick the Chihuahua! Nick is about 7 years old, give or take. He is a rescue dog, and as you can see a pampered one! Nick and his mom stopped by to pick up some new collars for him and his big sister, and he also got a brand new fleece jacket to keep the cold out. Doesn't he look so handsome?

TODAY'S CUSTOMER: HENRY -SHEPHERD MIX

Meet Henry the 3 year old shepherd mix! Henry stopped by for his first grooming with us. His story is truly amazing and he has come a long way to get to the happy life he has now. He is actually originally from Kuwait, and was shot in the back while in the desert. After the incident he came to Washington D.C, where he was adopted by his wonderful forever family and now they're here in L.A!

We just got more new items in the shop! We love these new little hoodies with a pompom on the top. Too cute. Available in grey or brown, sizes S to XXL.

ANESTHESIA-FREE TEETH CLEANING REMINDER FOR NOVEMBER

Getting a pet's teeth cleaned at the vet can be stressful for both pet and owner because pets need to be put under general anesthesia for the vet to clean their teeth. Not to mentions it's expensive. But not to worry! Venicepets/Marina Dog Grooming offers anesthesia-free teeth cleaning once a month! This service is performed by our dental hygienist, who does an excellent job. Meet Keith, the Chihuahua puppy! He is 8 weeks old. Keith stopped by with his dad to get his first harness and lead! TODAY'S CUSTOMER: GABBY - BICHON/MALTESE MIX

Meet Gabby (Gabrielle) the Bichon/Maltese mix! Gabby is super sweet, cute, and such a good girl! Today was her first grooming with us - she was rescued by the Lange Foundation and then adopted by her wonderful new forever mama. They had shaved her down (she was probably super matted when they rescued her) but now her fluffy white fur has grown back enough to get a cute new hairstyle! Gabby's mom also got her a Koko Chewnel toy (perfect because the real Coco Chanel's name was Gabrielle, did you know?)

NEW ARRIVAL: FOREST GREEN SWEATERS

We just restocked more sweaters, coats, and jackets for fall. My new favorite is the forest green color on the top left. So cute!

So I know it's 84 degrees right now in Venice but stop by the shop and check out all the cool clothing before it gets super cold and we're out of your dog's size! The holidays are just around the corner and as you know, the early bird gets the worm... :)

ROLLING TRAVEL CARRIERS ARE BACK!

Rolling carriers are back! As some of you may know we used to carry these a while back and then they disappeared from the market...But now we've found them again and have them in stock at the shop.

The beauty about these carriers is that your pet can lay in them while it's rolling or laid down flat.

Closeup shot of the zippered entry. There's also an additional pocket which stores a detachable shoulder strap for the carrier - also included.

And why would you need a shoulder strap? For when you want to remove the wheels, of course! This is the back of the carrier, where you can remove - or add the wheels and handle.

They're available in one size, and in colors black, black dots, or brown dots. These are airline approved, but please double check with your airline provider for specific information first - each airline has their own size dimension requirements for in cabin pet carriers.

Meet Magoo (left) aka "Attitude" the French Bulldog and Winston (right) aka "Tiny Baby" the English Bulldog! Winston is 2 1/2 years old and Magoo is 6 years old. They came for their first grooming with us this week. They're very well trained and it's hard to believe they're not professional models - just look at this well-posed photo of them!

NEW ARRIVAL - BEDS AND HOUSES

We just got a bunch of cool new beds in the shop! My personal favorite is this one above - perfect for small dogs or cats who like privacy (and honestly what cat doesn't?).

My chihuahuas love this kind of bed. I had to buy one for each dog since they were fighting over who got to hang out inside...

Each bed includes this matching, super cushion-y removable pad inside.

We also got restock of our big dog beds. All 100% washable, filled with eco-friendly filling and available for custom order in a wide variety of fabrics!

These small corduroy beds are new to the shop. Really tempted to get one for my dogs - they're so soft and filled with tons of cushioning. I wouldn't mind sleeping on this...haha. There's a removable zipper all around the bed and cushion for easy cleaning.

A big pillow bed with a beautiful paisley ikat fabric that would great in any home. Having a dog bed that matches your home decor is a great way for keeping your home looking cohesive.
