TODAY'S CUSTOMER: *THEO - LABRADOODLE*

Meet Theo the Labradoodle and his mom! I think this is the first time I've ever seen a grey Labradoodle. In case you don't know what a Labradoodle is, it's easy - It's a dog that is half Labrador Retriever, half Poodle! They can come in sizes big or small, depending on the type of poodle. There's also Goldendoodles, which are, of course, golden. Theo is 10 months old, so he came for his first grooming ever with us and he was such a good boy. Very well behaved throughout the whole process. Here he is with his mom after being groomed.

Meet Tiny (3 years old) and Roscoe (1 year old)! Their mom brought them in for their first grooming with us and all the staff was very impressed at how well-behaved Tiny and Roscoe were. Here they are with their mom after their grooming.

Meet Marli the Shepherd/Border Collie mix. Marli is 10 months old, isn't she pretty? She stopped by Venicepets to pick up a brand new collar and toy. She also liked this bed (most dogs too). Something about the softness just attracts dogs to this bed.

LOS ANGELES RESTAURANT PATIOS NOW DOG FRIENDLY!

To celebrate, Lolly and I went out to have a hot dog(haha) and some iced coffee. Well actually we do that anyway. Can you find Lolly the chihuahua in this picture? Hint: She's not on the ground like she's supposed to be.... :)

Do you guys remember Chisler the chihuahua? He was on our blog almost a year ago! Here he is with his family, wearing his brand new hoodie from Venicepets. Chisler's mom says he loves wearing clothes, and it's true because when they were trying it on him he couldn't wait to get his head through the top! And if you look closely it looks like he's smiling in this picture. I love it! Seriously cute.

TODAY'S CUSTOMER ~* ZSU-ZSU - CHIHUAHUA/ITALIAN GREYHOUND MIX *~

Meet Zsu-Zsu (pronounced "zoo-zoo") the Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound mix! Zsu-Zsu was rescued by somebody on the day she was to be euthanized at the shelter. She was then put on Petfinder, where her family found her. The picture was very small and grainy, but there was something about Zsu-Zsu that they just felt was right. They made a date to meet her and from that moment on they just couldn't walk away, Zsu-Zsu found her new home! From being on death row at the shelter, to getting pampered during her grooming and wearing a gold bling collar. Zsu-Zsu has it made! She's 8 months old now, and seriously the sweetest thing despite all that happened to her. Dogs don't hold grudges, dogs always forgive and always give love.

If you're considering a new pet, adopt, don't shop! There are wonderful dogs, cats, and bunnies like Zsu-Zsu just waiting for a new home.

Today this little cutie named Benjamin stopped by with his family to browse around the store.

His mom was looking at collars but all he could focus on was the grooming room. He doesn't get groomed with us, but the familiar smell of shampoo made him think his mom was going to leave him here for grooming. Heehee.

Meet Santo (left) and his sister (right) Bella! Santo and Bella's parents just moved to Venice so they came to explore the shop and pick up some new Bella Bean collars and matching leads for them. And yes, Santo and Bella are biological brother and sister, in case you couldn't tell. They're two very happy and very friendly dogs. We hope to see the whole family back again soon!

Wow! Have you ever seen such a muscular pitbull before? I wasn't here when Deuce came for his first grooming with us, but what a handsome boy! Deuce is a purebred pitbull. He just arrived to his new home this week, coming all the way from St. Louis. Deuce is already 2 years old, so he's not a newly adopted puppy, he's a newly adopted adult! So when he came in nobody knew what his temperament would be, and he turned out to be the sweetest dog ever. Behind all those muscles lies a sweet, sensitive, and curious soul. He's also very intelligent and well behaved.

We hope to see Deuce again soon!

Meet Koko, the Maltese/Shihtzu mix! Koko is only 5 months old but he's very well versed in his manners! He was very good during his first grooming. I wasn't here that day but Mari and the girls said Koko was very sweet and very well behaved.

Meet Fram the Jack Russell Terrier and his mom! They're actually from Italy and were just in L.A for 3 months. Fram's mom is a producer so she was here for the Oscars! Fram decided he needed something to ride around L.A in so his mom got him this cool messenger bag carrier.
