"BOO" the pomeranian, is been very popular in the whole world.

This little boy, Khaled who was traveling the States from Saudi Arabia, came to our store and found a perfect dog house for his Boo collection! Yes, he's a Biig big fan of Boo!

He was extremely happy :)

We wonder how many boos in there once he's back in home?

Sky is only 2 years old, but huuuge! It's close to the baby pony size!

Great Dane is a large breed, but very gentle, like Sky.

She had a beautiful shiny coating, and well behaved.

Today's Customer: Denali - Golden Retriever

Meet one of our regular customers, Denali, the Golden Retriever!

He came here for grooming today :) He had a summer haircut. It looks nice and short! He's so ready for the heat in Southern California. The leather bandana looks good on Denali as well!

He looks just like a puppy, but he's 11 years old! He doesn't age at all! Very clever guy :)

Today's Customer: Kaya - Rhodesian Ridgeback

Meet Kaya, the Rhodesian Ridgeback!

She came here for grooming today :)

This breed is very huge.  The Rhodesian Ridgeback is originally from Southern Africa, and it is very rare to see this breed in LA.

In the earlier parts of its history, the Rhodesian Ridgeback has been known as Van Rooyen's Lion Dog, the African Lion Hound or African Lion Dog.

This breed is typically muscular with short hair, and very smart.

Kaya was super excited when her mommy was here to pick her up! She was too happy, and she didn't even realize that she was actually stepping on her mommy's foot while taking a picture! Adorable :)

Today's Customer: MERU - French Bulldog

Meet Meru, the French Bulldog!

Meru's mommy was traveling LA from Japan, and found our store while driving, so she stopped by :) She got our rasta venicepets shirt for her French Bulldog, Meru who was staying in Japan.

Suddenly, this lady asked the venicepets owner, Mari if she knows her from back in the days...

And surprisingly, they were school mates while they were in middle school!

Wooow, what a small world!

It's crazy they just randomly met at a random store in a random country!

She sent us a picture of Meru with the venicepets shirt on, after she went back to Japan safely.

We are glad that it fit perfectly :)

FOR SEPTEMBER: HOLISTIC ANESTHESIA-FREE TEETH CLEANING!

Time to get our anesthesia-free teeth cleaning service (We do this every 3 months)!

California law has changed and it is now required that all anesthesia-free dental cleanings for pets have a Veterinarian present during the service. So we have teamed up with Dr. May, a highly skilled and caring doctor, and Tisha, a holistic dental hygienist.
The service Tisha and Dr. May provide stresses quality over quantity, so each teeth cleaning takes about 1 hour. New clients will have an introductory phone call with Tisha to learn more about your dog or cat, which only takes 5-10 minutes and at which point she will schedule your appointment.

Once you arrive at your appointment Dr. May will conduct an exam to make sure everything is fine, and at which point you can request any vaccines or anything else your pet may need. Tisha will remove the plaque and tartar buildup from your pet's teeth with patience, massage, and music, polish their teeth with a mineral-enriched compound, and then rinse with an anti-bacterial solution. Tisha and Dr. May care about your pet as if they were their own, we are sure you will be extremely happy with the service.

We will be hosting this service at Venicepets every 3 months for most every Monday of the given month. May's teeth cleaning dates are Monday May 6th, 13th, and 20th. To start the appointment process please call us at (310)301-4554 or (310)305-7370!

Meet Gabby, the Bernese Mountain Dog!

She came here for grooming today :) What a beautiful shiny coat! All of us also loved her pretty eyes and her personality. She was cute how she always wanted to touch her daddy's body. (You see it in the photo, too!)

Bernese is a large breed, but they love to stick with people all the time. 

Awww...  She loved to get rubbed her "spot" by her daddy :) Very cute!

Today's Customer : Napoleon - Chihuahua

Meet Napoleon, the Chihuahua!

Napoleon (we love the name!) was here for grooming today. His mommy also got a bag of chicken and rice treat for him :)

Napoleon is turning 12 years old on June 12! Happy Early Birthday!!

He looked very happy to be cuddled by his mommy :) Enjoy the treat, too!

Today's Customer : Henry & Mister - Pugs

Meet Henry (black) and Mister (white), the Pugs!

They are another regular grooming customers here at Marina Dog Grooming :)

Henry used to have another pug family, William, who went to the heaven a while ago. After the sadness, Henry's daddy welcomed a new pug family who is related to William.  

And that is... Mister!

William and Mister just look so much alike. Henry now gets along with Mister very well as his new family :)

Their relatives are champion dogs. No wonder they have the "celebrity" kind of quality!

They are always well behaved at grooming, but once they see their daddy, it's war! Both of them always want to be "daddy's one and only"! Well, not just them, all dogs want to be the owner's best friend, right?

We love the wrinkly face and the curly tail :)
