Meet Jamoncillo (pronounced ha-mon-see-yo) the Pomeranian and his family! 'Jamoncillo' is kind of like saying 'tiny ham' in Spanish, how cute! It suits him well, but mostly it makes me crave a torta (Mexican sandwich). They're visiting from Texas, so as a souvenir Jamoncillo's parents bought him a cute Venicepets t-shirt. It also helps keep him warm in this chilly L.A weather we've been having.
Meet Maya the cat and her owner! Maya is one year old. It's rare that we get to see a cat and owner just out and about on the town, so this was a real treat!
Maya is totally comfortable walking around with a harness and lead. Too cute!

We've just restocked all colors and sizes of these super popular eco-friendly nap mats! They're made from recycled plastic bottles but don't let the word 'plastic' fool you - these are really soft to the touch, and most dogs who discover these in the shop take to them immediately. They're also machine washable and dryable. I've had one for two years and it still looks like new even after lots of washes!

If you've never tried this style of harness you should - they're soft, as their name suggests, the material is a light, breath-y mesh, and a harness is a great way to eliminate pressure from your pet's neck that a collar can cause. We've just restocked on sizes and colors of our popular convertible raincoats! Each raincoat tucks into its own pouch for easy travel. There's even a strap on each one so that you can attach it to your dog's leash. Available in a wide assortment of colors.
Each raincoat attaches with two velcro straps - one around the neck and one around the chest. When the raincoat is being worn, you can use the pouch to carry potty bags or treats.
This little flap hides a little hole underneath to which you can attach your pet's leash to their collar or harness. There's also elastic with adjustable toggles on the hood to adjust the snugness! Available in sizes XS to XL. XS fits a tiny chihuahua or other similar size breed, XL fits a medium sized dog such as an Australian Shepherd. For bigger dogs we have special big dog raincoats, so nobody is left out!

We've just restocked these amazing jackets. The hood is lined in faux fur (of course!), and features a strap to hold back the hood or alternatively the hood is also removable! The lining on the inside of the jacket is super soft, almost blanket-like. I've always said I would love a human version of this jacket...Haha.

Meet Hachibe, she's a 1 year old chihuahua/terrier mix. Her family saw our Japanese version of the blog and stopped by with Hachibe to check out the store in person! Hachibe got the squirrel puzzle plush toy to take home and play with.
Meet Peanut the shihtzu! She came this weekend for her first grooming with us. Peanut is a recently rescued dog. As you can see she's so happy with her new dad and her new life which consists of nothing but snuggles, walks, pampering, and food! If you're looking for a pet to add to your family this holiday season please consider adopting from your local shelter or rescue group. You can find so many great companions such as Peanut there!
Meet Kona the shihtzu/poodle mix. Kona is 2 years old, and stopped by the shop to do a little shopping. Here she is modeling her brand new Bella Bean collar and leash set, and below modeling her new winter coat!:
Kona is always stylin' wherever she goes. She definitely knows how to work her cute for the camera. In addition to being super cute she's also very sweet and very smart! We hope she stops by again before the holidays are over - there's lots of new stuff arriving that she would look adorable in!
